12. Live Streaming at 10:30 a.m., Order of Service
1. Starting Wed., Oct. 28, the East Doors will be inaccessible for approximately 2 weeks. Enter using the front doors from Tuesday to Friday between 9 a.m. - noon and 1 – 5 p.m. If you have questions, email Fausta at warden.people@staidansinthebeach.com.
2. Blessing of the costume-wearers: During the Children's Moment at the 10:30 a.m. service on Oct. 25, we will be blessing the costume-wearers. Children and youth are invited to wear their costumes for the service. (Please be sure that the costumes worn to church are reasonable as far as safety and good taste for a worship service. Thank you.)
3. Choral Evensong: All are invited to join the choirs of St. Aidan’s in the Beach and friends in the Toronto East Deanery for Choral Evensong on Sunday, October 25 at 4:00 p.m.
This must beloved service includes readings, sung psalms and canticles, a homily, and a fantastic choral anthem.

4. Celebration of Murray’s Ordination: Sunday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. With great joy and thanksgiving, we announce the upcoming ordination of Murray to the Sacred Order of Deacons. Bishop Kevin Robertson will preside. The service will take place on Sun., Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. at St. Aidan’s in the Beach. All are warmly invited to attend and support Murray with our presence and prayers as he takes this step in holy orders. A reception will follow the service.
5. Music Ministry: On a sad note....our dear Michael Pirri will be leaving St. Aidan's in November for sunny Spain. We will be celebrating Michael's creative contributions to our community on Sunday, November 15, after the 10:30am service. Please direct any gift contributions to: donations@staidansinthebeach.com and state it's for Michael Pirri's gift. No tax receipts will be issued for these contributions for Michael.
6. We are looking for a donation of a 12 cup used coffee maker in good condition for use in the downstairs kitchen.
7. All Saints Church-Community Centre is looking for blankets and new underwear for their drop-in guests. Please bring your contributions to St. Aidan’s, leave them in the container provided in the narthex, and we will deliver them to All Saints. Thank you.
8. Rule of Life Workshop: Nov. 7, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. St Nicholas Birch Cliff Anglican Church, call 416-691-0449 to register. A Rule of life is not a list of “rules” but a support for growth in your Christian life – rather like a trellis that supports a plant and allows it to flourish and flower. Sister Connie, Sisterhood of St. John the Divine, leads this workshop. Please bring your own lunch. Coffee and snacks will be served. This workshop is free and open to all. · We support the Calvary Grace Food Bank: Your weekly donations (to the basket by the church office) are gratefully received.
· Euchre: Tuesdays 7-9 p.m., Parish Hall, $5 to play
· Wednesday Eucharistic Service: 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel
· Busy Bees Drop In: Thursdays 10 -11:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall
· Meditation: Thursdays 7:30 – 8:15 p.m. All ages and stages of experience welcome.
