OPTION 1: Pre-Authorized Giving (PAG): The most cost-effective way to support the parish through pre-authorized donations is to use the PAG plan which debits your bank account on the 20th of each month. The parish only pays a $0.50 service charge/month for your donation.
To sign up for PAG:
Print, complete and sign the PAG Authorization Form.
Get a copy of a void cheque from your bank account (these can be printed from your banking website if you do online banking).
Send these two items by email to our Donations Secretary at or mail them to St. Aidan's (2423 Queen St E, Toronto, ON, M4E 1H6).
OPTION 2: Canada Helps: Monthly donations can also be set up using your credit card or Paypal through the Canada Helps website, on the day of the month that you choose. St. Aidan’s receives 96.5% of your donation, there is a service charge of 3.5% of your donation amount for recurring donations. If you already donate by Pre-Authorized Debit from your bank account, you may change the monthly amount at any time by sending an email to the Donation Secretary, firstname.lastname@example.org, with the details of the change you would like to make. Please note that debits occur on the 20th of the month, so please allow sufficient lead time for the change to be made.
OPTION 1: E-transfer from your bank account - you may make a donation to St. Aidan's by Interac email transfer from your online banking site by sending it to Please send a separate email to tell us the answer to the security question. *If this is your first donation to St. Aidan’s, please send your full name, including middle initial, and address so that we can create a file for you in our donation tracking system.
OPTION 2: Donate online using your credit card through Canada Helps - Canada Helps: St Aidan's Church St. Aidan’s receives 96% of your donation, there is a service charge of 4% of your donation amount.
OPTION 3: Mail a cheque to St. Aidan’s, 2423 Queen St E, Toronto, ON, M4E 1H6. Do not mail cash.
Donations made through Canada Helps will be receipted by them via email.
All other donations (PAG, e-transfers, cheque, cash) will be tallied by the Donations Secretary throughout the year, and one receipt will be sent to you in February of the following year. Please note that the CRA requires that we include the donor’s middle initial and full address on the receipt, please ensure that we have this information.
