Toronto Island Retreat Day: Saturday May 7Most religious traditions, including our own Anglican tradition, urge us periodically to take time away from the persistent pressure of the tensions and anxieties of the world to listen to God; to consciously be with God, in nature, just for a while.A short ferry ride from the foot of Yonge Street offers the perfect place, the beautiful church of St. Andrew-by-the-Lake on Toronto Island, where we are invited for the day to be both in the heart of the City and apart from it.On Saturday May 7 Lucy will facilitate this spring retreat. It will be her last retreat as incumbent at St. Aidan's. The theme will focus on our relationship with creation and our more-than-human family.Please come.
