Sign-ups for the Maundy Thursday Dinner and Prayer Vigil, April 14 Sign-up sheets are on an easel in the narthex for our Maundy Thursday lamb dinner at 5:30 pm, and/or the prayer vigil that goes from 9pm that night to 8am on Good Friday morning. If you are signing up to attend the dinner please also sign up to indicate what dish you can bring: either a lamb stew, some roast lamb, or a vegetable dish. Good Friday Walk at All Saints Church-Community Centre, April 15. Join All Saints (315 Dundas St. E., Toronto) for a Good Friday Walk on April 15 beginning at 9 a.m. Just as the traditional Stations of the Cross mark stopping places along Jesus' last journey to the cross, this walk will stop at 14 places in the neighbourhood where All Saints' community members have died in recent years. Registration is not necessary. The walk will take between 90 and 120 minutes; please dress appropriately for the weather. 6. Easter Parade The Lions Club is hosting an Easter parade in the Beach on Easter Day, and there will be road closures around the church as of 12:30pm. Please make sure you move your car after the church service to avoid towing. 7. One Day Retreat on Toronto Island: Saturday May 7th St Aidan's eco-spirituality group is planning a day of prayer, quiet and reflection on beautiful Toronto Island, on the theme of Seeking Refuge and Healing of the Earth. Food Bank Director Needed Calvary Baptist Church is seeking a part-time, volunteer Food Bank Director for the Grace Pascoe Care Centre, currently located in the church at 72 Main Street. 12-15 hours per week.
