Welcome to St. Aidan’s
To know Christ and make Christ known.
St. Aidan’s is a neighbourhood church, located on Queen Street East in the Beach village in Toronto’s East End. We are an Anglican Church within the Christian tradition, who welcomes everyone to join with us for worship. Many live close enough to walk to church, while others come to us from a bit further afield.
“You are a beloved creation of God and you are most welcome here.”
Perhaps you are a seeker who is exploring what it means to live as a follower of Jesus. Maybe you already consider yourself to be a Christian, but you have been away from church for a while or are looking for a new church in which to deepen your faith. Maybe you have been Anglican for as long as you can remember, or maybe you have no idea what it means to Anglican. Perhaps you are a person who does not identify with a faith tradition, but you are simply looking to enjoy the worship experience and be connected with other people in the neighbourhood.
Whatever brings you to visit St. Aidan’s, know that you are a beloved creation of God and that you are most welcome here (as we say in our Land Acknowledgement, which is read at the beginning of our Sunday services).

Our Identity.
We give thanks to God the Creator for the earth we share with all creatures, and we acknowledge that here at St. Aidan’s we are on the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Wendat. We also recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples, and we seek to live respectfully with each other and with the earth.
At St. Aidan's we affirm that Every Child Matters, that Black Lives Matter, and we know that love is love. We welcome people from all walks of life. No matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcome at all our services and programs.
We can't wait for you to join us!
