Advent-Epiphany Study SeriesMany books on the ecological crisis discuss the bleak reality that we must all face. But Katharine Hayhoe, a climate scientist and Christian, takes a more empowering approach. Her new book is Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World. More information about Dr. Hayhoe can be found here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BvcToPZCLI&t=67s https://www.newyorker.com/news/on-religion/how-to-talk-about-climate-change-across-the-political-divide Dr. Hayhoe's important book will be the focus of an Advent study series that will carry over into Epiphany. The book is widely available wherever good books are sold. We are undertaking this series with the parish of St. Andrew-by-the-Lake (Toronto Islands). Study sessions will be facilitated by members of St. Aidan’s and St. Andrew’s and held Tuesday evenings, at 7:30pm, on Zoom: Nov 30, Dec 7, Dec 14, Jan 4, Jan 11.
