2. Special Vestry Meeting: Sunday, May 28

On May 28, following the 10:30 service, we will be convening a special vestry meeting to vote on whether "to landscape the West Garden as designed by IBI Group on the condition we secure the necessary funding.” There will be a presentation of the garden design, followed by Q&A and a vote on whether to proceed with the development. To vote at this meeting, you must be a member of vestry. The vestry list is posted in the narthex. If your name is not listed and you believe it should be, please contact Marilyn Thompson, Gemma Snider, or the Rev. Jeff Nowers.

3. Celebration for Gemma – June 4

Gemma Snider will be ending her work as Church School Co-ordinator here at St. Aidan’s at the end of June. Gemma has worked tirelessly at creating a wonderful environment with engaging programmes for our young people since May of 2017.  She will be greatly missed in this role but will still be here as a parishioner.  We will be holding a celebration for her following the 10:30 service on Sunday, June 4 (complete with ice-cream truck!).  Please join us!

 4. Calls to follow Jesus

On Sunday June 11 Michael Van Dusen will be preaching on Jesus' call to Matthew to "Follow me". He would like to include personal, contemporary stories of people in the parish who have experienced a personal call to follow Jesus.  If you have an anecdote about your own sense of call and would be willing to share it ...  anonymously if you wish... please contact Michael at mjpvandusen@gmail.com or 416-570-0203 or speak to him after a Sunday service.

5. Wanted: Sunday School Volunteers

Our children's programming on Sunday mornings relies on a team of awesome volunteers. We are in need of some new helpers to teach and support our Sunday school classes. Lesson plans are provided so prep work and commitment is minimal. Help us keep our children's ministry alive! Please contact gemmasnider@hotmail.com if you are interested or know someone who may be!

6. Plant Sale

Michael Erdman’s perennial plant sale continues this weekend, May 20 – 22, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, in his front yard at 14 Lyall Avenue (Kingston Rd. and Main St.).  The sale features hundreds of well-grown perennials, priced below retail, with proceeds going to Community Centre 55’s Share-a-Santa program.  The program provides food hampers and toys to 900+ families in need of support over the holidays.

7. Choir Camp

This summer, we invite all kids to join us for another fun-filled week of summer day camp complete with singing, musical exploration, and outdoor fun and games. Running July 10-14 for $100, for kids ages 6-14! For more information or to register, contact music@staidansinthebeach.com.

8. Food Bank Needs
