4. Coffee-hour Open Forum on Capital Campaign

At our coffee-hour this Sunday March 14 (approx. 10:15 to 11 am) we welcome M&M International to hold an open forum as they continue to gather parishioners' feedback about the proposed capital campaign to complete the needed restorations of the church and to fund future ministries. Please plan to take part and make your voice heard, especially if you have not been interviewed 1:1 or completed a survey.

7. Meeting God in Creation: A Lenten Journey of Love

This year we are offering a Lenten program designed to incorporate elements of study, prayer and action, to help us on our journey to heal our relationship with the earth. The sessions are on Thursdays, 7:30 to 9 pm by Zoom. The link is here:

We are studying short texts from a wide variety of writers in The Green Bible, learning a daily spiritual practice called an eco-examen, committing to some concrete environmental actions in our homes, and ending each session with a Celtic service of night prayers: the Aidan Compline. 9. Guest Speakers on March 21

On Sunday March 21 Ben Reid-Howells and his partner Rosa Amarilla (Natali) Montilla will speak at our 9:30 am service about their time working with the Unist'ot'en people in BC to defend their land. They will stay for a Q&A in our coffee-hour.

 

10. Meaningful Allyship Workshop

On Sunday March 28 from 1 to 3 pm  Ben Reid-Howells and Natali Montilla will present a workshop on how settlers can be meaningful allies with indigenous peoples. They will show some video footage from Unist'ot'en, and speak about land rights, resistance to colonization, and building solidarity. 11. Holy Week and Easter Services
Palm Sunday, March 28 - Service at 9:30 am by Zoom. Palm crosses will be blessed and then made available for pick up outside the rectory after the service.
Maundy Thursday, April 1 - Eucharist service at 7:30 pm by Zoom, at which bread for Easter communions will be consecrated. Please email the church office if you would like some consecrated bread to be delivered to your home for Easter.
Good Friday, April 2 - Liturgy of the Cross at 10:30 am by Zoom.
Easter Eve, April 3 - The Great Vigil will take place at 9 pm by Zoom.
Easter Day, April 4 - Eucharist service at 9:30 am by Zoom.
