Saturday March 3 A Visit to the Convent of the Sisters of St. John the Divine Visit the Anglican convent in Willowdale for a short, quiet day of learning how to pray with the Anglican rosary, and learning about this Anglican order of nuns. Space is limited to 15, so please register as soon as possible by signing up on the notice at the back of church, or by calling the church office: 416-691-2222. We will leave St Aidan’s (carpooling) at 8:30 a.m. and return by 3 p.m. Cost: $35, including coffee, lunch and program. See Lucy if cost is an obstacle.
Sunday March 4 6:30-8:30 AM, Help serve breakfast to people living on the margins at St. Stephen’s Church near the corner of College and Spadina. There are a variety of jobs from making juice and cutting bread to serving people, to doing dishes and bussing tables. The primary requirement is the ability to treat all people with dignity and respect as God’s children.
